Scorpios are extremely perceptive. You wouldn’t want to try to fool them, or you may come out looking like the fool.
A Scorpio is just the sort of person you want to have meet your new crush (provided they can keep quiet at the time). They would also be good to take to a negotiation as an observer. While you’re are busy swooning, they are good at figuring out con artists and sales people.
A scorpio that is not that perceptive or is easily mislead, is not mislead by others so much as they are mislead by themselves. Their passions may be distracting them from paying full attention.
Alternatively some Scorpios may have had things happen in their past that prevent them from being as compassionate as they could be. For ironically, it is compassion that is Scorpios greatest weapon. Compassion allows them to see more than what others see. They see and understand the con man’s needs and desires. They see that good people are not all good, and bad people are not all that bad. Despite their passions and fiery natures, they see much more than black and white. And that is what makes them so difficult to fool.
